 "Love this smile" I have made this memorial collection of my only brother for his children;who will now have to face their futures without him.For our mom (Judy) who always had my brothers back! For our family and friends-so they can see all the sides of my brothers life. Gary's story starts April 30th,1968 when he came into this world a troubled little baby.Born blue from Blood problems,Gary was put into isolation.Days later,and with great surprise;Gary was presented to our mother and father.He was ok and was on the road to recovering.
Gary was a very active lil one and seemed to like climbing.Anything and everywhere.Gary's blood problem still lingured and would become a risk each time he hurt or cut himself.At the age of 7,Gary had a kidney removed and a triple tube operation in his other kidney.Again Gary recovered.
As Gary matured he took to the road of fast cars,money and woman.He spent many months,years in and out of JV,provincial and Federal jails.My brother definetly chose his path,which took him out of his lil girl's life.Sabrina is a gift to our lives that Gary was not around to enjoy.As time passed.he would later see this life could not get him where his heart wanted to be. With his family!! As Gary struggled with his demons,he made great strides forward,with only a few steps back.Mom and I were pretty proud of him. And he had a great batch of friends,who helped him get there. Gary fell in love again in 2000 and tried very hard to start a normal family life.A daughter was born,Tiffany in 2001,and then a son Jacob in 2004.Gary worked hard to buy a house and all the fixtures a family would need.Although he seemed happy enough,Gary was living with constant back pain and was taking perscription meds on a regular bases. Olds demons surfaced. On Sunday morning at approximately
2:00am Feb 4th,2007, my 38 yr old little brother fatally shot himself.
The events leading up to this terrible tragity are still unclear,and I will not stop asking,until I am answered;for I do not understand his choice. He was a tough kid,who had survived much,much more.The pain of my brothers suicide has effected alot of people..I don't think he knew how many people really liked him. I wonder now if this would of mattered. Those that LOVED him,accepted him-Flaws and All!
